This may seem funny, but I blamed my kids for picking up so much weight at first. Not in the sense that after I got pregnant my body got heavier.

I love them more than life itself, but the things they crave for me to cook for them every day has killed every diet that I’ve tried! I can’t blame them completely though, because sometimes I’ll just suggest something quick after working all day like “Who wants hot dogs and chili?” which only takes about 20 minutes to prepare.

In addition, Josh (my husband and the love of my life) is about 6’2 to my 5’5 frame, and weighs about 270. He is a construction worker so he gets regular exercise. I do not.

These were some of my dilemmas. How was I supposed to lose weight like this? Cooking meals for hungry kids and a hungry husband.. I was surely doomed right? Not quite! I am happy to say!
